Pet Sitting
Safe Pets Secure Pet Sitting is a small, family-owned company. We have over fifty years of experience in pet care, including domestic, wild, exotic, farm, marine, reptiles, and birds. We care deeply about animal welfare and do volunteer work in the community with nonprofit organizations, seeking care, rehabilitation, foster, and permanent homes for animals who need a safe place. And we have been training dogs in obedience, agility, and “tricks” for over fifty years! We are licensed and bonded in the state of Kentucky.

Security
In addition to caring for your pet, Safe Pets Secure Pet Sitting will care for your home. We ensure the home is secure upon arrival and departure. Did you know the majority of burglars and thieves are familiar with your home, and most live in the neighborhood where they steal? No property is 100% safe, but we do our best to ensure it is not enticing to thieves. You have the right to feel safe and secure and knowing someone is there to watch your property.

Dog Walking
A 2022 study by the Association for Pet Obesity (APOP) found a staggering 59% of dogs are overweight or have obesity, indicating a widespread problem with pet health. A 2023 survey among pet owners and veterinary professionals revealed a potential lack of awareness about this issue regarding their own pet’s weight.
Add a dog walk to your drop-in or overnight stay OR schedule regular walks: a 30-minute walk (weather permitting) in the neighborhood.

Price List
DROP IN
A drop in includes feeding (as needed), watering, and one hour with your beloved pet. Medication given as required. Your sitter will conduct a security check of your home to ensure all locks, windows, gates, and vehicles are secure. Change indoor lights, gather mail and packages, and ensure the home appears occupied upon leave.
….. $25.00 per visit. Add $10 each for additional pet.*
OVERNIGHT
An overnight stay with your beloved pet. Includes all services offered with Drop-In (see above). Plus, one security evaluation of your property with written report.
….. $150.00 per night (12 hours) for one pet. Add $20 each for additional pets.*
….. $275.00 for 24 hours for one pet. Add $20 each for additional pets.*
DOG WALK
Add a dog walk to your drop-in or overnight stay: a 30-mimute walk (weather permitting) in the neighborhood. Time may not be split. You must supply collars and leads. In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be rescheduled without penalty. Dogs will be on lead at all times outside of the home. No dog parks for your pets safety.

ADD ONS
We service the Allen County, Kentucky area with no travel cost. Outside of Allen County the charge is:

Bathe – we can bathe your dog, so they feel fresh and clean for you when you arrive home! You must provide cleaning products (due to allergens.) ….. $30.00 each shorthaired dog, $60.00 each for medium-longhaired dogs includes bath, comb-out, and air dry
* No additional pet charges for two-legged pets, tiny pets (such as rodents), or fish. Animals that remain in a cage or aquarium together count as 1 pet (i.e. 2 hamsters, 1 tank of fish).
75% of payment is due 24 hours prior to the first visit. The balance of the billing is due 12 hours after last day of services rendered.
$25 fee for insufficient funds or returned checks. $20 fee for client’s time/date change or cancellation without 24 hours’ notice.
Add a one-time $25 fee for an emergency call.
Discount for first time customers and first responders & military with ID: $5 off one-time Overnight for scheduling of 2+ nights.

2. We also ask you to download and complete an information packet so we can do our best job. (The packet may also be emailed to you.) The packet should be completed before the meet-n-greet. It contains vital information like your contact, pet details, and emergency service as needed. We NEVER share your information.
